Written Confession: UFO and Humanoid Sightings in Hudson Valley, NY
The following written confession was submitted via email:
I wanted to reach out and share to Experiences I had in 1988, revolving around the massive UFO sightings around the Hudson Valley, NY. From 1983- early 90s, the Hudson Valley Region of NY State experienced an object flying in the Hudson Valley, NY Area. From Reports from Local media that over 1,000 witnesses contacted and reported to local law Enforcement and the local media, that they had seen a large, triangular, "boomerang " type object flying over the area, about the size of a football field, but silent, no engine noise, just triangular shape with bright lights underneath the object. Descriptions vary from witness reports 1983- The Early 90s. The object Was consistently reported a large triangular object with lights underneath and no engine noise, was completely silent.
My Experience: In the summer of 1988, in Orange County, NY, in the Hudson Valley. My Mother and I Drove to my brother's, Friend's, house, to pick up my brother. My mother went into the House of the Friend, to get my brother. I waited in the car with it running off the battery listening to the radio. It was around 830-9pm. It was a very clear, starry night. I was looking up at the night sky when i saw a large Triangular object, boomerang shaped. It was flying very slowly. I was staring at with amazement. So, i got out of the car and looked at this object, thinking it was a plane, but i heard no airplane engine. It was completely silent. I flew for several minutes then slowly headed east, then it blended in the Stars in the sky. As i was watching this object, the car window was open, the radio station playing, became all disrupted by lots of static, the car battery started flickering. When the object dissolved into the starry sky, the radio station, tuned back in perfectly, as before.
2nd Experience: A few months after this experience, in 1988, it was in the Autumn, now. It was a rainy and foggy Night. It was around 7-8pm in the evening, dark outside. I was waiting in the back seat of my relatives car, waiting for 2 relatives, to leave their house to come out to the car to, wherever we were going. The car was parked in the driveway, a very wooded area, behind the car, was the front porch of the house, with an Entrance Light, lighting the entrance to the house, and lighted up the area of the driveway and front yard. I was sitting in the back, driver side looking out the window. I look to the front of the car, and i see a dark figure, that resembling a child about 4ft tall. Very thin arms, very thin legs. A small torso, but a large, oval shape head. But it was dark, so i could only see a figure. It was walking in front of the car, passing by me heading towards the house, passing through the front yard. As it got closer walking towards the house, i could see the reflection of the Porch light reflect into large, black, oval shape eyes. I could see the oval shape head. I screamed, it stopped walking, as if i alarmed it, its head, turned and looked at me. It seemed suprised to see me as well. It was as if both of us startled each other. I screamed and ducked down in the car. I stayed down on the bottom of the car floor, terrified! A few moments later, my 2 relatives entered the car. The older relative, who was the driver of the car, asked me, " whats wrong??" I said, "i saw someone walking across the front of the car through the front yard!!!". The Older Relative, ran back into the house, and grabbed a shotgun and flash light and started looking all the front yard and driveway.
After a while, the relative came back and said they didn't see anything. My relative later told me , they thought it might have been an intruder trying to burglarize the house. The relative asked me what it saw, and i explained it to them. They were very suprised. They said it probably was just a deer or something. About the location of this house: It is located in an area, where house a very spread out, very wooded area, nearest house is over 1/2 a mile away in any direction. So, it couldn't have been neighbor or a person. To this day, i still don't have an idea of what it was.
